With the Prelims results just declared. It is now over to the next step in the process.
October 31, is the date for the IBPS Mains Exam. For candidates who have successfully cleared IBPS PO Prelims, this means another hurdle before they can appear for their personal interview. From the successful 2.5 – 4 lakh test takers for IBPS PO Mains Exam, around 50 thousand individuals will be selected for the Personal Interview.
It is important to note the 5 Ways IBPS Mains is different from the Prelims;
- GK (with special focus on Banking Awareness) and Computer Awareness are added.
- The number of questions in the individual sections has increased.
- The difficulty level of Questions will be tougher than the Prelims Exam.
- A test taker will now face 200 questions instead of only 100.
- The composite time will be of two hours instead of one hour
